Tempus Fugit - Photographia
In a place where “Cinema” makes part of the name, it seems just natural that a photography exhibition should deal with the passing of time. The point is that a photograph must not be seen as the account of a single isolated instant note, but of an instant among many other happenings - an object may change and even the perspective of how it is seen may change.
Because time is fundamental in photography, Tempus Fugit is a photographia against the immediatism that seems to contaminate the common observation and photography of today. It also shows how diversified the ways of viewing an object may be, even if it seems objective where it is not. For that, Tempus Fugit is one more inviation to be in time and in the diversity at “Cinema Paraíso”.
