On Mountains
The work "On Mountains" (OM)  ("Olhares Montanheiros" in portuguese) roots from the friendship between its authors and their common passion for Mountains and Photography. It is backed by a spiritual and senses' relationship towards Mountains. Though the acronym OM has come by by chance, it being a word of such meaningful spiritual strength within Buddhism and Hinduism, also with roots within Yoga, its use makes total sense. It carries a mixed meaning, as a title: "On", as in "view of", meaning that it is the result of the authors’ photographic and spiritual visions; these are the views of altitudes which are higher than most common daily-life situations; views that are "less obvious", as if "above" the mundane urban and photographic banalities; these are views and reflections of the spirit of being mountaineers.
