This was the second of a three-day circuit, walking with friends in the Pyrenees, for those days and more. We had started in another valley and had to cross to another new valley, through a col at 2830m (close to one of the cols visible in the photo). On our way down the col we had, as usual, made our best of the best of being in the mountains, sleeping a nap and having our mountain-food moments in the mid of good physical action along steep slopes.
The most impressive were the age-old black-pine trees and the high and airy cliffs, with beautiful flowers in fluffy meadows.
Close to our destination, we cross one of the most impressive meadows that I've seen, with an extraordinary diversity of flowers. A concert of singing insects added full audio to the scene.
